Campground Rules, Policy and Limit of Liability
Our goal is to provide a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable environment for all guests. By entering or staying on the property, you agree to follow all rules and policies below.
Campground Rules
1. Respect & Conduct

Please be respectful to your neighbors at all times.

If an issue arises, speak politely with one another or contact management directly.

Harassment, aggressive behavior, threats, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.

Management reserves the right to remove guests without refund for violations.
2. Quiet Hours
-
Quiet Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
-
Please be mindful of families, children, and guests who work night shifts.
-
Music, engines, generators, and outdoor gatherings must be kept to a minimum during quiet hours.
3. Pets & Animals
-
Do not allow pets to use the restroom in other guests’ campsites.
-
Always pick up after your animals.
-
Repeated failure to clean up after pets may result in removal from the campground.
-
Pets must be leashed or properly contained at all times.
-
Aggressive animals are not permitted.
4. Driving, Parking & Safety
-
Drive slowly and safely throughout the property.
-
This land is shared with children, livestock, wildlife, and pedestrians.
-
Reckless driving will not be tolerated.
Parking Rules
-
A maximum of two (2) vehicles per campsite is permitted, provided they do not block roadways, driveways, or other campsites.
-
Vehicles must be parked fully within the assigned site area.
-
Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated lower lot near the barn/event center.
-
Please respect driveway access and allow room for others to enter and exit safely.

Do not block roadways, campsites, or shared access areas at any time.
Guest Parking
-
Guest parking is permitted at the campsite for up to 24 hours, provided it does not block roadways or other sites.
-
For long-term residents, a guest is defined as any adult staying less than 48 hours.
-
Any adult staying 48 hours or more is considered a resident and may be subject to additional fees and registration requirements.
Long-Term & Abandoned Vehicles

Long-term vehicle storage is available in designated areas with prior approval.
-
Vehicles left unattended, unregistered, or in violation of parking rules may be considered abandoned.

Abandoned vehicles are subject to removal after seven (7) days at the owner’s expense.
-
Management reserves the right to tow or remove vehicles that pose a safety hazard or block access.
5. Firearms & Shooting Policy
-
Shooting is only permitted in designated areas.
-
Firearms must be stored securely at all times.
-
Firearms must not be visible outside of your camper unless in a designated shooting area.
-
Children and families are present on the property.
-
Violations may result in immediate removal and possible law enforcement involvement.
6. Electrical & Heating Safety
-
Only one electric heat source is permitted per camper during winter months.
-
All devices must be in good working condition.
-
Extension cords must be outdoor- and RV-rated.
7. Campers & Site Appearance
-
Campers must be in good working order and clean appearance.
-
No tarps on roofs.
-
Outdoor storage must be neat and minimal.
8. Water & Plumbing
-
All water lines and plumbing must be properly connected.
-
No leaks are permitted.
-
Guests are responsible for freeze protection in cold weather.
9. Fires & Fire Safety
-
Fires are only allowed in designated or approved fire pits.
-
Never leave a fire unattended.
-
All local and state burn bans must be followed.
10. Children
-
Children must be supervised at all times.
-
Playing in roadways, livestock areas, and restricted zones is prohibited.
11. Livestock & Farm Areas
-
Do not enter livestock areas without permission.
-
Do not feed animals.
-
Farm areas contain natural hazards including fencing, uneven ground, and animals.
12. Visitors
-
Campsites are for registered guests only.
-
Visitors must be approved by management.
-
Management may limit the number of visitors per site.
13. Trash & Cleanliness
-
Use designated trash areas.
-
Do not leave trash outside overnight.
-
Keep your campsite clean and orderly.
14. Management Rights
Management reserves the right to:

Refuse service
-
Modify rules
-
Remove guests for violations or unsafe behavior
Campground Limit of Liability and Hold Harmless
This is a legally binding agreement. Please read carefully.
By entering, staying, or using the property and facilities of Mt. Olive Springs Campground, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that outdoor, farm, and campground activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Uneven terrain, gravel roads, and natural ground conditions

Wildlife and livestock
-
Campfires and heating devices
-
Electrical hookups and water systems
-
Firearms in designated areas
-
Weather conditions
-
Vehicles and farm equipment
-
Actions of other guests
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my presence on the property.
2. Release of Liability
I hereby release and waive all claims against Mt. Olive Springs Campground, its owners, operators, employees, and agents for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from my stay or use of the property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Hold Harmless & Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mt. Olive Springs Campground from any claims, legal fees, damages, or costs arising from:

My actions or negligence
-
The actions of my guests, children, or pets

Damage to property
-
Injury to others caused by my party
4. Responsibility for Guests & Pets
I accept full responsibility for any guest, child, or pet I bring onto the property.
5. Property Damage
I agree to pay for any damage to campground property, including:

Electrical hookups
-
Water connections
-
Fencing
-
Roads
-
Buildings
-
Landscaping
6. Firearms Policy Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that firearms are permitted only in designated areas and accept full responsibility for safe handling, storage, and use.
7. Insurance Disclaimer
Mt. Olive Springs Campground does not provide insurance coverage for:

RVs
-
Vehicles
-
Campers
-
Trailers
-
Personal property
Guests are encouraged to maintain their own insurance.
8. Medical Authorization
I authorize Mt. Olive Springs Campground to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary and accept responsibility for all medical costs.
9. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
10. Binding Agreement
This agreement is binding upon me, my heirs, legal representatives, guests, and assigns.
